A message from Tom Williams, Inventor of Wyckoff - Volume Spread Analysis
For the past 27 years of my life I have devoted my time and energy into developing a trading and investing system based on the original teachings of Richard D. Wyckoff, a revolutionary trader and investor that told the truth about market manipulation and specialists in the early 1920's.
Richard Ney was another market luminary who exposed how markets really worked in his excellent books, most notably "Making it in the Market", "The Wall Street Gang" and "The Wall Street Jungle".
Find out more about Richard Ney at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Ney
When the desktop computer was introduced I realized that it could be possible to computerize the key principles based on supply and demand, cause and effect and effort vs result.
In the early 1990's I developed a stock scanning system based on Wyckoff's work that analyses relative strength or weakness in a stock, based on the movement of the parent index, be it bullish or bearish. In a bull market (which we are in) we look for stocks acting stronger than the parent index.
In this live event, my protégé, Gavin Holmes and I will scan the Dow Industrials, S&P 500, and Nasdaq indices. We also analyze the Futures and Metals because they will move in a big way this year, although as we will show you how this system will work in any timeframe and any market, including currencies.
We will then apply our stock picks and put them into the Wyckoff / VSA Smart Center Pro system live. We will share some of the results, and I can say without any doubt that the new system will find stocks being accumulated and distributed by the big players, or as Gavin calls them in his book, "Trading in the Shadow of the Smart Money", THE SMART MONEY.
Please join us for this very special webinar highlighting how to use the Wyckoff / VSA system to find trades in Stocks, Futures, Options and Commodities.
If you would like to find out more about this system then we have put together a comprehensive video course with Gavin's book and my book available as PDF downloads with my compliments for all Denver Trading Group members at: www.tradeguider.com/intro/
About Our Speaker
About Tom Williams:
Tom Williams, a veteran trader and author of "Master the Markets" has been energetically applying his expertise to profit from the stock and futures markets for the past 45 years.
Tom spent 12 years in Beverley Hills, California, working with an off-the-floor professional trading syndicate to reap huge rewards for their own (and private) accounts.
Tom is the father of the Volume Spread Analysis (VSA) methodology, which is a creative set of market timing indicators that will enable you to confirm your entries (and exits) in today's fast paced financial markets. By using his techniques, you will have a significant advantage over the average trader or investor.
Tom also designed the VSA computer software, which later became the foundation for the popular TradeGuider software.
About Gavin Holmes:
Over the last several years Gavin Holmes has become a successful professional trader under the tutelage of Tom Williams, retired syndicate trader and Chairman of TradeGuider.
Gavin's mission is to educate traders and investors to become experts at the lost art of chart reading and to understand the importance of volume, the hidden secret of the markets.
Gavin travels the world teaching traders and investors how to read charts correctly by understanding the interrelationship between the volume, price, and range/spread of a price bar to determine the activity of 'Smart Money', and then trade in harmony with the professionals. He is a regular speaker for Chicago Mercantile Exchange events both online and live on stage, and is one of the few traders who trades their live account showing VSA set ups, trading them as they appear.
In 2002, was when Gavin Holmes had the good fortune of meeting Tom Williams, a former syndicate trader who traded with one of the largest stock trading funds in America during the late 1950's and early 1960'S. Tom immediately connected with Gavin, and it was from that point Tom began teaching Gavin that the markets were being manipulated on a daily basis by the 'Smart Money'.
Tom was himself a 'Smart Money' insider, and he had developed a trading system that could see the activity of the 'Smart Money' as they were manipulating the markets by observing the interrelationship between volume, price action, and the closing price on a price chart. Tom developed the methodology called Volume Spread Analysis and computerized his system with amazing results. Gavin became Tom's protégé and over the last 9 years Gavin has become recognized as a worldwide expert in the Volume Spread Analysis methodology and market manipulation.
Just this year, Gavin self-published his own book series called, "Trading in the Shadow of the Smart Money" and "Trading in the Shadow of the Smart Money Volume 2: Sequential VSA Chart Patterns Explained". In "Trading in the Shadow of the Smart Money" Gavin discusses why market manipulation can actually be a good thing for traders and investors who can read the chart correctly based on universal laws. All markets work because three universal laws govern them: the law of supply and demand, the law of cause and effect, and the law of effort versus result.
To make money in life there is a fourth and very important law, the law of attraction, and for the first time in any book on trading that we are aware of, Gavin unlocks the key to success in trading and investing in the markets: BELIEF in your human ability to make money and in your system to read charts.
Gavin has been featured as a headline speaker at numerous seminars and webinars around the world. He has provided educational courses for the CME Group in Chicago and has been featured at the New York and Las Vegas traders expo's Traders Challenge where Gavin traded his live account, showing the principles of VSA appearing live and taking trades.
