About Our Speaker
Jim O'Brien has been a Wyckoff student for over 45 years. He took the course, on the G.I. Bill, after returning from Southeast Asia.
Jim has successfully used the Wyckoff strategies and techniques as both an intermediate and long-term trader, as well as a swing and a day trader.
In 2002, Jim joined forces with Craig Schroeder and Gary Schubert, who owned the original Stock Market Institute. Jim designed the Wyckoff Stock Market Institute.com website and, together with Craig Schroeder, began to develop an online charting service that encompassed all the Wyckoff tools. After Craig's untimely passing in 2009, Jim completed programming the Wyckoff charting service. In addition, he wrote daily and weekly market reports that gave Wyckoff students a strong understanding of present market conditions and future direction.
Last year, Jim completed an updated version of the Wyckoff course. Entitled Wyckoff Strategies & Techniques, Finding and Trading Winning Stocks, the e-book offers a detailed study of Wyckoff methodologies, at a fraction of the cost of the basic course. As a bonus, everyone who purchases the book also receives an audio version, complete with its own set of charts.
