Detailed Agenda

Our guest for Thursday, August 26th will be Dr. Gary Dayton. Gary will present the application of Wyckoff principles and assessment on a variety of stocks and commodities.

Gary will briefly discuss the background/history of Wyckoff and why the method continues to provide robust analysis of modern markets. He will then discuss the fundamental Wyckoff principles that frame every successful trade: supply & demand, effort & result, cause & effect.

During his presentation, Dr. Gary will highlight the following:

  • Background conditions and overall market structure
  • Potential cause (point & figure)
  • Signs of strength or signs of weakness
  • Wyckoff principles at significant turning points in the period of analysis

Tests, no demand, clustered closes, supply coming in, bag-holding, capping the market/end of rising market, trend strength, springs, upthrusts, key reversal, hidden upthrusts, changes of behavior, and other key principles, as appropriate.

  • As the presentation comes to a close, Dr. Gary will highlight 2-3 current markets and offer his analysis of what we can anticipate next.

Participants will learn the essentials of the Wyckoff Method and how to apply the method bar-by-bar as the markets unfold.
