Both the dictionary and behavioral economics suggest that risk is about the loss of value-not just the standard deviation of returns as commonly used in the historical financial literature.
Risk has at least seven unique faces. A new foundation for active risk reduction has been laid by notable researchers. Scott Juds will cover how to design portfolios using their principles to "Conquer the Seven Faces of Risk."
YOU WILL LEARN
- How addressing each of the Seven Faces of Risk improves returns
- How to use automated tools for the task of measuring momentum
- How SectorSurfer levels the playing field between individual investors and Wall Street pros
Scott Juds is the author of the new book "Conquering the Seven Faces of Risk: Momentum Strategies Avoid Bear Markets, Enable Fearless Retirement Planning" (BookBaby, 2017).
